Asuka had invited me to the taping of an Ellen Degeneres Show. We had gone once in the past, but since we had standby tickets, we only made it to the Riff Raff room. One thing you didn't know is that Asuka was about 5-6 months pregnant then and when the staff had seen that she had waited in line for 3 hours, they dragged her in with the audience of that show. She was lucky to have gotten in to the show!
This year, Asuka was very lucky to have gotten us garanteed tickets to Day 2 of Ellen's Twelve Days of Christmas. For those who are not familiar, this is when Ellen gives away many Christmas gifts! We ended up getting: $150 gift card at Macy's, $150 gift card at Staples, $150 gift card at QVC, $250 gift card at World Market, a Samsung 16G Digital Camcorder, Season 1 and 2 of Dexter and the music CD of Katy Perry. On this show, the guests stars were Jimmy Smits (from Dexter), Jaden Smith (Will Smith's son) and Katy Perry. To top it all, the Chippendales were there and Asuka got to dance with one of them when they came out!! The circled area on this picture is Asuka with our dancer :) It was so much fun.
Asuka, thank you soooo much for inviting me. I had a blast. I must say that I cherished the time spent with you before you move to Montreal in less than 2 weeks. You're an awesome friend and I'm going to miss you so much! Luv ya!
